RIO +10 SERIES
June 2002 - SocialFunds.com recently released the first articles in a
multi-part series on sustainable development written from an investor's
perspective. The intent is to prepare investors, companies, government
officials, nonprofit groups, academics, and media for the Johannesburg
World Summit on Sustainable Development taking place from August 26 to
September 4.
Articles in the series will be published on Fridays. Articles will cover
topics such as the five areas in which UN Secretary General Kofi Annan
believes the Summit can achieve concrete results: water and sanitation,
energy, health, agriculture, and biodiversity.
