To inform the media on the business perspectives of the Summit proceedings BASD will hold daily press briefings at 10:30 in the morning. These briefings will be held in the press room of the Hilton Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. In addition, the business delegates will host three press briefings at the press conference room in the Sandton Center.

The topics will be in line with the official Summit sessions and will give an overview of the different business events. The spokespersons will be chosen according to the topics of the day.

In addition to the different media events a daily business news flash will report on the activities of the business community and will include a list of upcoming events.

Reporters should also note that key members of the business delegation will meet daily at the Hilton Hotel at 09:30 for a high-level briefing. The meetings are off-limits to reporters, but spokespeople may be door-stopped at the meeting's conclusion.

The BASD website as well as the Virtual Exhibition will showcase a multitude of sustainable development projects and bring daily highlights of the Summit to a global audience.
